House #48: First Contract

November 23, 2013 · 2 comments

House #48 has been listed for about two weeks, and has gotten a ton of interest from buyers. One of the common pieces of feedback we got the first weekend was that buyers didn’t like the unfinished basement (it was dirty and dank), so we went in and painted and cleaned it before the second weekend. During second weekend showings, we received a very strong offer that we ultimately accepted. So, this house is now under contract to sell.

The buyers have 2 weeks for their inspections and we’re scheduled to close in mid-January (though hopefully it will happen sooner). I’ll have more to say once we get through the inspection period…

From such an awesome rehab and well done staging, you would think the basement is the least of concerns! An easy fix that got you better results.. Great
