House #3: Finally Closed

September 19, 2008 · 1 comment

It’s taken nearly five weeks, but I was finally able to close on The Second Chance House today. Closing has been pushed back several times — it was originally scheduled for August 29 — and all parties involved have been getting a little frustrated. But, I’m meeting my GC first thing Monday morning, and I expect that he’ll have his crew out there ready to start demo by the time the contracts are signed. It’s going to be a long next few weeks getting this one underway, getting The Bulge House sold and getting The Corn House completed, but I’m looking forward to it.

I have a feeling the pictures for this one will be fun, especially the demo work…I’ll keep you updated…
