House #26: Under Rehab / Pics

September 19, 2011 · 1 comment

As of last week, we officially own The Fourfecta House

And I realized that I never posted any BEFORE pictures of this house. So here you go:

BEFORE PICS

Renovation on this one started last Thursday, and given that we’ll be saving the kitchen cabinets and much of the first-level flooring, the schedule on this one should be pretty quick. I’m hoping to have this one completed by the end of this week (and on the market by the end of next week), and assuming there are no (more) surprises, I don’t think that will be an issue.

The one surprise we’ve already had was a burst pipe in the laundry room. No damage was done before we were able to stop the water and fix the pipe, but this is now the third house in a row where we’ve had burst pipes at the beginning of the renovation. Very weird…

So far, we’re under budget on this renovation, despite a couple upgrades…I’ll post more later in the week as we get closer to finishing up…

    The house looks in good shape so i think you’re going to finish it very quickly. I’m really learning a lot from your great updates.

    Thanks;
