Today I picked a name for my business. It will be called “Lish Properties.”
Why the name “Lish”? Simple really…
My dog’s name is Rookie.
Still not obvious how I got to Lish, huh?
Don’t ask me why, but ever since Rookie was a puppy, I’ve always called her “Rookie D. Licious.” And very often I just shorten her nickname to “Lish.” My fiancée also calls her Lish, and because I’m probably more attached to my dog than is healthy, I decided to name the company after her.
In fact, my fiancée and I have decided that we will name both of our businesses after the dog – my real estate company will be named “Lish Properties,” and her communications company will be named “Lish Communications.” I imagine that there will eventually be other companies that we start, and they too will follow the Lish theme.
Unfortunately, the dog doesn’t seem nearly as excited about this whole thing as I think she should be…

I just read every word on your new venture… I am inspired and extremely excited for you. This seems like an amazing ideea you have and I look forward to reading (more hearing) about every step of the way. You always have a friend and support team in us (sabrina as well)… YOUR THE MAN!!!
