As I mentioned last week, I am writing a weekly blog post for BiggerPockets.com, the premier destination for real estate information and discussion on the web…

I just posted this weeks blog entry, and it’s all about contracts…I hope you’ll check it out:

All About Contracts

Any comments, feel free to leave them here or over on the Bigger Pockets site…

  1. Thanks for yet another incredible post, J.

    Another very nice job, J.

I read recently that staff will be added this coming year (can’t recall if state or federal level) to pursue violations of independent contractor status. This is already a favorite target for class action attorneys.

Always the editor, I noticed 2 instances of youR not using possessive before a gerund.

And, it’s workers’ compensation…gender neutered years ago.

Sorry for nitpicking your contract language!

    Uncle Jeff,

Wow, I’m not used to anyone being more attuned to grammar mistakes than I am…apparently, my attorney wasn’t… 🙂

    Thanks for the corrections…sincerely appreciated!

This is quickly becoming my favorite blog. Thans for providing more great information.

I have my own agreements already, but it’s nice to compare them with others.
