Nicely done; very good family house centering around the very large, inviting kitchen.

it looks amazing, but 70k budget seems a lot to me. an except the kitchen, nothing structural was changed…. but looks amazing inside. hope you get it sold quickly. great job, J!

You guys do such beautiful work!

    George –

In addition to the structural changes in the kitchen, we essentially added two bathrooms (ripped out the original and put in two new ones in different places), reconfigured the size of the bedrooms and finished the basement. So, there was a whole lot of structural and reconfiguration in this house. Plus the foundation, mechanicals, roof and everything else…

Its actually a wonder you got all that done on a 70K budget. Our cosmetic budget is many times over half of that!

Always fun to look at and read of your projects. Keep up the good work!

That is amazing you got all that done for 70k. I always enjoy looking at the before and after pictures side by side!

Another Amazeballs job! You are def my inspiration. I was wondering, what kind of flooring did you use in this house ?

  8. J Scott says:

    Hi Kim,

For this one, we put in solid oak, site finished…came out great!

am surprised that you can leave the built-in shower surround in the master bath for a “high-end” property — people don’t expect tile glamor?

  10. J Scott says:

    Hi acm,

This actually isn’t considered high-end for this area. This is a mid-range property (listed in the low-$300Ks), and most of our competition isn’t even remodeled.
