First, thanks to everyone for their well wishes on our recent addition…
It was a rough start to our little boy’s life…he didn’t want to take that first breath, and needed quite a lot of help to convince him that it was in his best interest. After a night in the NICU, the doctors determined that he was ready to join mommy and daddy, and we’re now all back together. On top of that, my wife needed a semi-emergency C-Section, so she has some recovery to do as well.
But all-in-all, after a rough several hours, things are now fantastic! And again, thanks to everyone for all the kind words…

Wow, that’s our story exactly (minus c sec) with our little guy (born 12/14/08, 8 lbs, 8 oz). Couldnt take his first breath b/c he was all clogged up with mucus. I am sure your guy will be fine. Congrats bro, what a beautiful thing.
Thanks Tom for the encouragement…he’s been doing great since a few hours after he was born, so there are no more worries at this point. But, as I’m sure you know, those first few hours were quite terrifying…

Sorry to hear that the little sugar booger wanted to give his parents a scare!! Im glad to hear that your wife made out well after the delivery. Congratulations on the little guy!!!!! Hope you guys are adjusting well with a new addition.
