For The Drought House, the repairs were essentially limited to some minor siding repair, installing a couple exterior GFCIs and fixing a couple outlets, some caulking in the fireplace, painting an exterior gas line to prevent rust and fixing a bedroom door.
For the Fourfecta House, the repairs included replacing a splash block, fixing a couple doors that aren’t closing smoothly, removing an improperly terminated electric line, fixing a window that’s not closing smoothly, insulating behind a cabinet and having the HVAC units checked. The HVAC issue is the only thing that is a bit concerning; we’ve already done standard maintenance and repairs on the units, and everything was working properly. We’ll get our guys back out to take a look.
So, all-in-all, the additional costs for repairs on both houses should come out to less than $150 each, which is where I like our repair costs to be…
I’d say that is a sign of damn good craftmanship and excellent work by your project manager.
$150 is a pretty good cost which proves that your guys did well on the house.
