And to make up for my slacking on this, I even did a quick little walk-through video (not great, but it will do):

This past week, we’ve completed the interior painting, finished reglazing and repairing all the windows, installed the vinyl flooring in the bathrooms and laundry room, installed most of the light fixtures, installed the air conditioning and furnace, installed a drop ceiling in the laundry room, and installed the new double vanity in the master bathroom.

In the next week or two, we’ll finish the flooring (hardwood and carpet), install the kitchen cabinets, do the final plumbing, and then knock out the remaining little finishing details, like the mini-blinds, door-knobs, switches, outlets and registers.

So, here’s the next installment, which was just recorded this past weekend, and should bring you up-to-date with the rehab progress:

We’re about three-and-a-half weeks into the rehab, and things are going quite smoothly. Hopefully, by the end of this week, the landscaping will be completed, our termite and rodent company will have completed their treatments, the interior will be painted, the bathroom cabinets will have gone in, the tiling work will be completed in the master bathroom, and we’ll be ready to start on the flooring, kitchen cabinets and fixtures by next week.

I’ve been putting off doing this for a couple reasons: I was too lazy to buy the correct video card for my PC so I could use the video camera we had and because I think I look like crap on video (gained a bit too much pregnancy weight with my wife!)…

Anyway, it was good incentive to upgrade my PC and to start losing weight, so here goes…here’s a video from last week on the initial rehab at The Sunglasses House. This should give an idea of what the house looks like, what specifically we’re planning to do, and where things stand:
